Dog photographer Laura Holzner travels worldwide, capturing dog portraits and action photos inspired by nature. She is based in beautiful Squamish, British Columbia, Canada.
Experience
Not only have I been surrounded by dogs all my life, I've worked with well over 300 dogs in the past few years. I met dogs of all ages with different backgrounds, personalities and stories in many countries. Observing and listening to their owners has given me so much insight and understanding into working with animals.
Patience
I have tons of patience for my pups and their humans. It's my top priority that people and dogs have a good time at the shoot. We will work with rewarding treats and toys, have time for cuddles and take sniff breaks. There is never any pressure or force, and we work with what the dog is comfortable with. The shoot is tailored to the personality of you and your pup.

This is your photoshoot - which means it's all about you and your pup. Every shoot is customised, to make sure we find the perfect location. Have you got a water-loving retriever? - How about the beach or lake? Is your dog reactive? - Let's find a spot to ourselves. Do you spend your free time hiking with your dogs?- Off into the mountains we go. As I said, this is your photoshoot, and we can make it about what you and your dog enjoy most. Let's capture the memories you want to frame, the ones to keep forever.

We get to know each other and talk details such as location, what to bring and how I can help you, so you won't have anything to worry about on the session day!
Step 2
We will meet on location. Think of it as a relaxed walk with photo stops along the way. There will be plenty of breaks, treats and laughs! The focus is on having a good time and capturing natural moments.
Step 3
You will receive a personal gallery with beautiful memories. You can choose your favourite images and download them in high resolution. Print options and add-ons are available.

Hi, I'm Laura!
I grew up in a little village in Germany. After school, I decided to travel. That was about six years ago now. Through travelling, I discovered my photography for myself.
Everyone that knows me knows how much I care about animals, especially dogs. When I started photography, dogs were the obvious choice of subject. I love spending time with them and their humans and capturing their unique characters in nature.
Photography combines my biggest passions in life and lets me bring everlasting memories to people's homes.
When you book a session, you enable me to dedicate time to rescues worldwide, providing them with photos that get pets adopted.
